Sorry for the lack of a preview post, it was a busy weekend. So busy I didn't even get to watch the whole game.
So of course they win. That's good though, if it takes me not watching for them to win, I'll make the sacrifice.
Donald Driver made possibly the best catch of the year.. and Rodgers looked pretty good despite the fact that the Offensive Line is still yet to get their act together. He had a rating of 126.9 and had almost 40 yards on the ground.
Speaking of the ground game, Grant had almost 100 yards, which is an improvement for him.
The defense had 3 take aways, but in the process, still made it pretty tough to be too confident in them, they did give up 17 points to the RAMS. Still, if they can keep forcing turnovers they'll be feared.
Overall, I think Packer Nation had a big sigh of relief today.

Last I checked, the Rams were still an NFL team, and an NFL team with Steven Jackson, so... 17 points ain't death. They will have to play better if they want to beat the Vikes on Monday though. As far as the offense goes, we've been blaming the O-line, but I think we need to look at Rodgers a little bit more. He's either gunning deep or checking down. What happened to the intermediate routes? I think his timing is off. The O-line is bad enough that Rodgers can't develop a rhythm, but Rodgers is shaky enough to make poor - or "overly" safe decisions, resulting in sacks. That's why I don't think GB is sunk. With some minor tweaks, this could turn into a good offense, and that in turn will help our defense continue to improve.
Grant almost had a hundred yards rushing. This is good for the offensive line because like I said before when the Packers' offensive line can make holes for Grant and the other Packers' running back to ran through, it can create protection for Rodgers when he needs time in the pocket to threw. The Packers' defensive is still creating turnovers but I think that the Packers' defensive line needs to get to the quarterback more. You think I talking about getting more quarterback sacks. When I mean create pressure for the quarterback to make wrong decision when he is going to pass. (incompletion, interception, fumble, ect.) Also this can create false starts for their opponents' offensive line. If the Packers' defensive line and linebackers can do this, it will help them to stop their opponents running game by blocking up the running hole.
